HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT AND LITERATURE REVIEW OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN CHINA

Abstract
Vocational education is an important part of the modern education system in the world. It is closely related to people’s work and life, and is of great significance to promoting economic prosperity and social development. It is called a key to economic and social by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization development. After more than 70 years of development, China’s vocational education has achieved remarkable results and formed a relatively complete vocational education system. At the same time, vocational education has also gone through some detours in the development process. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically sort out the historical development of China’s vocational education in order to sum up experience and lessons and promote the better development of China’s vocational education. This paper is a literature review analysis, sorting out the historical development and policy evolution process of vocational education in China, and then summarizing the development experience and laws of vocational education in China.
