FACTORS OF ELECTIVE COURSE THAT ARE INFLUENCING STUDENTS’ SATISFACTION OF STUDENTS IN VOCATIONAL COLLEGE — A CASE OF JIANGXI VOCATIONAL COLLGE FINANCE ECONOMICS

Abstract
The current study is researching on the relationship between the independent variable (course availability, instructor quality), mediator variable (psychological need) and dependent variable (student satisfaction). There are four research questions and four hypotheses are formed. The current study is using quantitative method with primary data as data collection which the questionnaires will be used to collect the data. 200 respondents who are students in Jiangxi Vocational College Finance Economics and he or she should experience elective. The sample size is calculated based on G*power sample size analysis. Simple random sampling will be used for the current study to include more responders in the current study. Multiple linear regression and Sobel test were run in this study. The findings revealed that instructor quality and course availability in elective courses were significant predicted student satisfaction. Psychological need was also supported to have mediating effect between both instructor quality and course availability in elective courses and student satisfaction.
