Abstract

English phonetics is both essential and difficult in English learning process of mainland China, especially for college students. Based on related researches of most provinces, the research conducted for this paper collected the pronunciation samples of 121 non-English majors who speak in local dialects instead of mandarin, had an all_x0002_round analysis of their pronunciation features and errors, and eventually made suggested modification based on the reasons leading to the errors.
